Determines with the client’s executives a budget for Your Legal Manager and for the attorney or law firm to be retained for each legal need or project.
Determines the company executives’ authorities and responsibilities in relation to the outside lawyers or law firms to be retained for each legal need or project.
Assists the company to interview, evaluate and hire an attorney or law firm, identified by Your Legal Manager or the company, for each legal need or project.
Serves as liaison for the company to the attorney or law firm hired by the company.
Arranges for interim reports to the client from the attorney or law firm hired by the company.
Arranges appropriate schedule and format for invoices from the attorney or law firm hired by the company.
Reviews and evaluates with the client on a regular basis the results of the attorney’s or law firm’s work.
Initiates a process for selection of a new outside attorney or law firm when the client determines that continuing with the existing attorney or law firm is not satisfactory.
